RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS ARE NOT ACCEPTED UNLESS AN ITEM IS PROVED TO BE INAUTHENTIC. The burden of proof lies with the buyer. We try our best to describe and photograph any unusual wear and tear and are not responsible for Lou’s Closet is not a legal person and represents the sale of an individual’s pre-owned, personal belongings.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately you receive the wrong item, so that we can make it right.

When second-hand goods are bought from a private individual in the EU (i.e. Lou's Closet), the Sale of Goods Act applies. WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS OR EXCHANGES UNLESS AN ITEM IS PROVED TO BE INAUTHENTIC. The burden of proof lies with the buyer.

Lou’s Closet is not a legal person and represents the sale of two individuals' pre-owned, personal belongings. Lou's Closet does therefore not trigger the Directive (EU) 2019/2161.

"The Directive covers second-hand goods bought from a trader but it does not cover goods bought from a private individual (known as consumer-to-consumer transactions)."

The second-hand goods sold on Lou's Closet are sold “as is”. The seller is not liable for defects caused, for example, by use or wear and tear. 

Lou's Closet tries to consistently describe and photograph any unusual item wear and tear or defect and does not accept exchanges or returns based on item condition.
